When I started creating a network of niche dating sites, I was fired up and full of enthusiasm. I managed to get quite far developing
and promoting my first site yourfitnessdating.com but alas I lost steam after a few months.
I originally picked up the idea from a post on Warriorforum where some guy gave a walkthrough document away for free. The sites were built using the platform from datingfactory.com, it has its pros and cons but I took the site setup as far as I could using the built in tools. I can’t remember everything that I did during the build and promotion phase but I know I tried a few tools and techniques including a facebook page and youtube SEO.
Astonishingly, having just checked my account … I still get a trickle of traffic and have the princely sum of £14.07 which is unfortunately below the withdrawal threshold … never mind, perhaps in another 15 years I’ll be able to withdraw some money !
Ultimately, my interest in creating content and promoting this site dwindled and I never really got started with the other sites I planned to add to the network but I did learn a lot and I can’t really let it go so I always renew the domain when the time comes …
